Town of Hardisty Council Meetings will be held on the second Tuesday starting Feb 12, 2012.

TOTAL FIRE BAN IN EFFECT

Due to extremely dry conditions a FIRE BAN has been imposed restricting all open fires within Flagstaff County effective May 9, 2013.
This fire ban includes all open fires, including burning barrels, and fire pits, but excludes natural gas or propane barbeques, and natural gas or propane fire pits.
This ban SUSPENDS any fire permits previously issued under the Forest and Prairie Protection Act.
A person who sets a fire under this ban may be charged and will be responsible for the costs of extinguishing the fire pursuant to Flagstaff County Fire Bylaw 02/12.

The Town has lifted the fire ban with in the Town of Hardisty limits but the fireban outside of town limits imposed by Flagstaff County is still in effect.

Town Wide Spring Clean-Up
Hardisty Transfer Site to be open to Town of Hardisty Residents: Thursday May 23rd, 2013 3:30-7:30p.m., Friday May 24th, 2013 3:30-7:30p.m., Saturday May 25th, 2013 8:30a.m. – 4:00p.m. & Sunday May 26th, 2013 12:00 Noon – 3:30p.m. There will be no charge for tipping at the transfer site for these dates only.

Compost material will be picked up by public works on the Monday May 27th, 2013 only. Town residents can pick up compost bags at the Town Office only these bags will be picked up by public works. This material is for lawn and yard waste only NO BRANCHES (grass clippings, leaves & plant material only).

The Battle River also offers many activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Big game hunting, waterfowl flyway, or a hike in the hills. A canoe journey can start or end at Hardisty's other campground on the river.
