Garbage Pick-Up & Transfer Site
Flagstaff Waste Management performs the garbage pick-up service in town, and manages the transfer site northwest of town.
Grass cuttings:
There are compost bins in Town at the Town Shop, Fire Hall and the new subdivision. These are to be used for grass clippings and leaves only, so please empty the bags, and put the bags into the regular garbage. If you are unable to get your compost to any of the bins, please contact our office.
Recycling Bins :
There are recycling bins in Town located at the Town Shop. These are to be used for carboard and plastic: this includes:
- All HARD plastic. Includes: #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, & #7 (found on container in a triangle)
- There is to be NO plastic, plastic film or styrofoam

Currently, residential garbage pick-up in town is on Monday mornings. If Monday is a holiday, then it is done on Tuesday.
The Transfer Site is 3.7 km from downtown.
